1. Acceptance of Terms
By downloading, installing, or using the Separation Buddy mobile application ("App"), you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use the App.
These Terms constitute a legally binding agreement between you and Content Labs Ltd ("Company," "we," "us," or "our").
2. Description of Service
Separation Buddy is a mobile application designed to help pet owners train their dogs to overcome separation anxiety. The App provides:
• Precise timing for separation training sessions
• Built-in warm-up sequences and adaptive session recommendations
• Background timer functionality with notifications
• Progress tracking and analytics
• Training guidance and educational content
• Premium subscription features for enhanced functionality
The App provides educational training guidance for dog separation anxiety and is not intended to diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent any animal health or behavioral condition. Consult a qualified veterinarian for medical or behavioral concerns about your pet.
3. Subscription Services
Separation Buddy offers premium subscription services with the following terms:
• Weekly: $2.99 per week
• Monthly: $8.99 per month
• Annual: $59.99 per year
• Lifetime Access: $119.99 for lifetime access to premium features for as long as the App remains available. No refunds will be provided if the App is discontinued or features are modified.
Subscription Features:
• Advanced analytics and progress tracking
• Unlimited session history
• Personalized training recommendations
• Priority customer support
• Access to premium training content
Payment and Renewal:
• Payment will be charged to your Apple ID account at confirmation of purchase
• Subscriptions automatically renew unless auto-renew is turned off at least 24 hours before the end of the current period
• Your account will be charged for renewal within 24 hours prior to the end of the current period
• You can manage and cancel your subscriptions by going to your App Store account settings after purchase
• Any unused portion of a free trial period will be forfeited when you purchase a subscription
Cancellation:
• You may cancel your subscription at any time through your Apple ID account settings
• Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period
• No refunds will be provided for any unused portion of the term
4. Privacy and Data Collection
Your privacy is important to us. Our data collection practices include:

• Training session data (duration, ratings, timestamps)
• App usage analytics and performance data
• Device identifiers for analytics purposes
• Crash reports and diagnostic information
Data Usage:
• To provide personalized training recommendations
• To improve app functionality and user experience
• To analyze app performance and fix issues
• To provide customer support
Data Sharing:
• We do not sell your personal data to third parties
• Analytics data may be shared with service providers (Firebase Analytics, RevenueCat) in anonymized form
• We may share data as required by law or to protect our rights
Data Control:
• You can delete your analytics data through the app settings. • You can opt out of analytics tracking at any time. • You have the right to request access to or deletion of your data in accordance with applicable data protection laws (e.g., GDPR, CCPA). 5. User Responsibilities
You agree to:
• Use the App only for its intended purpose of dog separation anxiety training
• Provide accurate information when using the App
• Not use the App for any illegal or unauthorized purpose
• Not attempt to reverse engineer, modify, or distribute the App
• Supervise your pet appropriately during training sessions
• Seek professional veterinary advice for serious behavioral issues
• Not rely solely on the App for pet care decisions
You acknowledge that:
• The App provides general guidance and is not a substitute for professional advice
• Results may vary and are not guaranteed
• You are responsible for your pet's safety and wellbeing during training
6. Prohibited Uses
You may not use the App to:
• Violate any applicable laws or regulations
• Infringe on intellectual property rights
• Transmit harmful or malicious code
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to our systems
• Use the App for commercial purposes without permission
• Share your account credentials with others
• Create multiple accounts to circumvent limitations
7. Intellectual Property
The App and its content, including but not limited to text, graphics, images, logos, software, and training methodologies, are owned by Content Labs Ltd and are protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws.
You are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the App for personal, non-commercial purposes. This license does not include the right to:
• Copy, modify, or distribute the App or its content
• Create derivative works based on the App
• Use the App's content for commercial purposes
• Remove or alter any proprietary notices
8. Disclaimers and Limitations
DISCLAIMER OF WARRANTIES:
THE APP IS PROVIDED "AS IS" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED. WE DISCLAIM ALL WARRANTIES, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT.
LIMITATION OF LIABILITY:
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, CONTENT LABS LTD SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO LOSS OF PROFITS, DATA, OR USE, ARISING OUT OF OR RELATING TO YOUR USE OF THE APP.
TRAINING RESULTS:
We do not guarantee that use of the App will resolve your pet's separation anxiety or behavioral issues. Training results vary based on numerous factors including the individual pet, consistency of training, and underlying causes of anxiety.
VETERINARY DISCLAIMER:
The App is not intended to diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent any animal health condition. Always consult with a qualified veterinarian for medical concerns about your pet.
9. Background Processing and Notifications
The App uses background processing capabilities to:
• Maintain timer accuracy during training sessions
• Send time-sensitive notifications when sessions end
• Perform data maintenance and optimization
• Update session progress and statistics
These background tasks are essential for the App's core functionality and pet safety. By using the App, you consent to these background operations, which are designed to minimize battery impact while ensuring training effectiveness.
Notifications are critical for preventing over-separation, which could cause distress to your pet. You may manage notification settings through your device's system settings.
10. Third-Party Services
The App integrates with third-party services including:
• RevenueCat for subscription management
• Firebase for analytics and crash reporting
• Apple's App Store for payments and subscriptions
Your use of these services is subject to their respective terms of service and privacy policies. We are not responsible for the practices or policies of third-party services.
11. Updates and Modifications
We reserve the right to:
• Update or modify the App at any time
• Change these Terms with notice to users
• Discontinue features or the entire App
• Modify subscription pricing with advance notice
Significant changes to these Terms will be communicated through the App or via email. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the modified Terms.
12. Termination
We may terminate or suspend your access to the App at any time, with or without cause, including for violation of these Terms.
Upon termination:
• Your right to use the App ceases immediately
• You must delete the App from your devices
• Subscription benefits end at the current billing period
• Data deletion may be requested through app settings
13. Geographic Restrictions
The App is intended for use worldwide where legally permitted. You are responsible for ensuring compliance with local laws applicable to your use of the App.

14. Dispute Resolution
Any disputes arising from these Terms or your use of the App shall be resolved through binding arbitration in accordance with the rules of the jurisdiction of England and Wales, where Content Labs Ltd is incorporated.
You agree to resolve disputes individually and waive any right to participate in class action lawsuits or class-wide arbitration, to the extent permitted by applicable law.
15. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the jurisdiction of England and Wales, where Content Labs Ltd is incorporated, without regard to conflict of law principles.
16. Severability and Entire Agreement
If any provision of these Terms is found to be unenforceable or invalid, the remaining provisions will continue in full force and effect. These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and Content Labs Ltd regarding your use of the App and supersede any prior agreements.
